Library search support - Reference

  • The Library provides general information on its services and more targeted guidance on the use of specific resources and tools. We are happy to help you make the best use of the Library for your studies or academic research, from understanding exam bibliographies to assistance with accessing e-books and e-journals. 

    The service is available:

    • in person, by telephone or e-mail (campusrimini.biblioteca@unibo.it
    • online, centrally, through the Ask the librarian service
    • Via Teams, you can chat with the staff with Live Chat. This service is available to active users of the University of Bologna at the Rimini Campus. Live Chat is usually available Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 pm, and Saturday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm, with a break from 1 to 2 pm.

    Support for graduating students by appointment

    Library staff provide support for graduating students in carrying out bibliographic research for their final dissertation, with reference to the disciplinary areas of the Rimini Campus.

    The service is tailored to the students’ areas of study and research topics, and consists of guidance on selecting and using subject-specific databases to find documents relevant to their research needs.

    • Support sessions are held online via TEAMS and last a maximum of 30 minutes.
    • An appointment can be made by writing to: campusrimini.biblioteca@unibo.it indicating the research theme in advance.
    • The service is suspended in August.
